March 2026: The Return of Familiar Faces
Share
When winter bites hard, many street cats disappear. They find whatever shelter they can and wait out the worst of it.
March is when they emerge again. Warmer nights, longer days, and suddenly the feeding stations were busier than they'd been in months.
Some were regulars returning after a harsh winter, leaner than our partners remembered. Others were entirely new, wary and hesitant, hanging back to watch the others eat before daring to approach the bowl.
That quiet moment—when a cautious cat decides it's safe to eat—is something our partners witness every week. Because the food is always there. Because your purchases make sure of it.

More Cats Than Bowls
At a few of the busier stations, our partners encountered a welcome challenge: more cats showed up than they had bowls to fill.
So they adapted. Earlier starts. Extra portions. A second round at the spots that needed it most.
No one was turned away. Every cat that came looking for food in March found it—reliable and consistent, in the same corners and quiet lots they've learned to trust.
That's what "more cats, more meals" actually means on the ground. Not a slogan. A growing crowd, and enough to go around.

The Ones Who Made It Back
One of our partners recognized a gray tabby from last autumn—a cat that had vanished the moment the cold set in.
She walked straight up to the station in mid-March like no time had passed. Ate her fill. Stayed close.
Others showed up the same way that month: cats who survived the winter on their own and returned the moment the cold broke, searching for the spot they remembered.
That's what "10 meals per purchase" looks like when it keeps going, month after month. The cats remember. And the food is there waiting.
WHAT'S NEXT
April feeding operations are already scheduled. The cats who returned to the stations in March are now back on the regular routes. Our partners are restocking for spring and continuing to coordinate with local fosters.
You'll receive the April update in early May, complete with fresh photos from the field.
Every t-shirt, hoodie, or accessory you purchase helps us provide 10 meals to cats in need.
FROM ALL OF US
Thank you for being part of this.
The cats in these photos are alive and eating because thousands of people decided a simple purchase could mean something more.
You're one of those people.
That means more than we could ever put into words.
